The car listed above overheats when I drive the car, but it does not overheat when the car is idling. I replaced the radiator, radiator hoses, the thermostat, the water pump, temperature sensor, belt tensioner puller for the water pump, and the radiator cap. I have done everything I could think of to do. I have the air out the cooling system I have done a test to see if the heads are still good. The color never change. Stay blue. I did a compression test didn’t seem to leak. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If you are certain it isn't related to a head gasket and you have done all the things listed, it really is limited.

When the vehicle is running (prior to overheating), does it run properly? Is there any power loss that may indicate a possible restriction in the exhaust?

Also, are there any diagnostic trouble codes that may be related to ignition timing?

Let me know.

Joe

Yep, it can still have a blown head gasket without testing positive, please go over this guide to see what I am talking about:

The car runs fine it just overheats. There is no milky color in the oil. There is no white smoke coming from the tailpipe. There is no water coming from the tailpipe. There is no codes showing up either. There’s no check engine light on at all. The car runs just fine. The only problem I have is it as I go down the road road it starts to overheat.

I have the vehicle listed above and it overheats when I drive it but not when it’s idling. I have changed the radiator, the radiator hoses, the water pump, the thermostat, the temperature sensor, and the belt tensioner pulley for the water pump. I have a compression test doesn’t appear to be any leaks. I also done a Block leak test the color stay blue never changed any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, it still be be a blown head gasket because the test is not 100% accurate. Can you wait until the engine is cold and remove the radiator cap then start the engine and look for small air bubble being produced inside the coolant. If the radiator is new and the cooling fan works and you have replaced the water pump there is not much else.
