2007 Buick lacrosse engine oil life system light comes on even after reset

After I reset the light by turning on the ignition & pressing gas pedal three times & restart the car, the light goes off. However, the next time I start, the light is back on.

the light has to blink after depressing the gas pedal, then you need to turn the key off before restarting.if you doi it like that it shold stay off. if not the sending unit may be bad and this maystill be under warranty so the dealer will have to fix it.
