2007 BMW X5 3.osi - On the Idrive (the menu settings option) is not showing on the monitor screen. Can’t check engine oil level and all the rest of the settings Only the radio, CD player ok. Any advice to what to do

The system architecture of the E71 vehicles sometimes can be reactivated by doing what BMW calls a master battery reset.
It involves removing the negative lead at the battery and then touching the battery leads together to achieve what in computer parlance is called control/alt/delete
If there is no joy from this attempt, you may have a deeper issue that might require a trip to your BMW repair facility of choice.
