hood won't open

My hood won't open because the cable snapped how do I open it manually? I've tried opening the wheel well and trying to unlatch one side but it just doesn't work, I have no idea what to do know please I need help as soon as possible

You will need to put the car on a hoist to get under it so you can use a pair of long needle nose pliers to grab the part of the cable and pull it open. Here are instructions on how to replace the cable so you can see what I am talking about below.

Thank you I took off the handle from the inside and just pulled the wire with some pliers and it opens fine :) I love this site.
