Oxygen sensor emissions control EU6 DDE7
In order to comply with the more stringent exhaust-emission regulations of the EURO6 (EU6) standard, exhaust emissions control is implemented on vehicles with EURO6 by two oxygen sensors. The oxygen sensors are located in front of the oxidation catalytic converter and after the oxidation catalytic converter. To reduce nitrogen oxide emissions further, an oxidation catalytic converter with a modified coating is used.
