When driving on the freeway the car overheats and then loses acceleration won't accelerate until it cools down. Just got it back from the shop got 2 exits away and it did the same thing. Any suggestions? Could it be a Sensor? Thank You, Judy

With the engine cool, open the radiator cap, start the engine and let it come to operating temperature. Look in the radiator to make sure there is sufficient coolant and that you can see it moving. Top off as necessary and recheck. If no coolant flow, suspect either a stuck thermostat or a bad water pump.
