about resetting indicators

i have a bmw 318i 2007.. i brought it to the garage to replace the front and rear brake pads.. sensors and 4 disc as well. when its done.. we cannot reset the brakepad indicator.. when we tried resetting it several times..it always appear this thing"mls......."and the handbrake light wont go off even the handbrake is off...

no neeed to reset the pad indicator. it goes off by itself. if the light is still on, then have him re check his work for the sensors.

red brake light, check fluid level in master, hand brake applied or hyraulic failure.

Failure to reset means something is still wrong. It should reset when unless your scan tool is not capable of doing it.

What were the exact words on screen? Any codes?
