Accelerator pedal "detached" from the floor/mount. I do not know if they are suppose to be attached or not, but I think they are. What should I do to fix it?

IT PROBABLY TOOK ME LONGER TO CONSTRUCT YOUR PIC, THAN IT WILL TO PERFORM THE TASK

HIDE THE ZIP TIE HEAD OR LOCK ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE PEDAL
