I have a 2006 jetta TDI 1.9L My engine oil dipstick is cracked I do beleave or leaking at anyway.

Is the dip stick tube like just a press in tube with an O ring or is it more complicated. What im getting at is if I Can Do this myself or Am I going to have to get some one to help me. Hoping I can do it my self. Also if I am able to do it my self where is the best place to buy a tube, and is that all I willl need? Thanks

no oring tight fit. try dealer for tube. use some sealer on install.
