Why does it start and immediately die?

Sounds like a immobilizer is on, do you have the correct key for it ,on your key ring is there more than one key with a transponder, this can cause invalid key

scan for codes and check fuelpressure first clean throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner. if th eimmobilizer was workingthe car wouldn't start
