air conditioning is weak

The air conditioning on my 06 VW beetle is weak. Some cool air comes out and the airflow is strong but the air is not cold enough to cool down the car on hot days. What could this be???

I just bought this car about three weeks ago. Everything else seems just fine.

You would need to check the refrigerant level and pressure.
