Have the diagnostic trouble codes (error codes) read at a local shop or in some cases an autoparts store may read them for you FREE (they do here in the states). Post the codes here and then we'll be better able to help you.Sounds like a spark problem i.e., bad spark plug, faulty ignition coil, etc. Have you recently had work completed on the vheicle? If so, what type of repair?
