Brakes started grinding

Hello,

Back in 2007, one year after purchase, my car got booked in for a transmission actuator recall. The outcome was a reinstallation of the software on the actuator. However a year after the the brakes started grinding I need to do a brake job now.

Here is a guide to help you step by step with instructions in the diagrams below to show you how on your car.

1. Safely jack up vehicle, support it with axle stands.
2. Remove font wheels.
3. Remove the retaining spring clamp and undo 2 Allen cap screws per caliper.
See illustrations below
4. Lift of top part of brake caliper.
5. Remove brake linings.
6. Clean brake caliper, ensure that sliding pins are moving freely.
7. Install in reverse order.
