oil pressure guage acting funny

Just changed oil & filter and the oil pressre guage went to red line,is it a sensor issue or what?

If there was not a problem before it well may be, i would get the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge just to be sure, if that is OK, check the wire first, make sure It is not earthed out as this will give you a false e reading as well.
