Brakes on my 2006 Toyota Rav 4 w/45,000 miles, occasionally make a rubbing sound when applying the brakes. If I apply the brakes harder than I usually do it doesn't make this sound. I've had the brake pads checked and was told they are fine for another 20,000+ miles. Any ideas what may be causing this?
