2006 Toyota Matrix Wipers Won T Shut Off Tried Turning Off Car Adjusting

The wipers won't shut off. We tried to turning off the car, adjusting the different speeds of the wipers, we even disconnected the battery of the car. It's really odd because it just turned on automatically.

it sounds like the ground has gone bad in motor and you may need anew/rebuilt unit
