I have a 2006 Toyota Matrix wich makes a resonating noise at 2,000 rpm's while the car is moving. Above or below that rpm the noise goes away. The noise sounds like its coming from behind the glove box. I checked the muffler system under the car to make sure the heat deflectors were not vibrating against the car and found everything ok, It appears to be louder when its colder outside. Any idea?

Noise is something we can't help much. Check the firewall for anything that could be loose or vibrating.
