ac/heating control

2006 TOYOTA COROLLA

The ac/heating control it doesn't turns to the left, is just turns until the middle, now in the right side (the heating side) and is still blowing cold air,
Do you know what cause this problem?

the knobs on that control actually pull wire cables to open and close little doors to control temperature and where air blows out like vent, defrost, floor, etc. the control has to be removed and the cables and hooks repaired or replaced
