Sometimes air conditioner won't work

Went to chruch and the air wouldn't get cool, on the drive home it worked, worked all the next day. Next day it didn't work again, I stopped for a paper, started the car and it was working. What could be the problem? Would starting the car again reset something?

no, but it sounds like there is a bad connection somewhere in the ac circuit.

i would have it checked at a shop
