I am showing this code, and have noticed that, when the car is first turned on and shifting from reverse to drive (automatic), it bucks. It does not do it after the car has been running for a bit or if I don't gas it immediately after switching to drive. I am also pulling a P0700 code. Could it be a bad catalytic converter, and if so, does it effect the transmission with it's bucking?

Many things can cause this code. Sometimes its just a small exhaust leak, a failed sensor, or in some cases a faulty fuel pressure regulator. Yes, the catalytic converter can be bad too. The PO700 indicates a random misfire. I don't think any of these would cause a trans problem. Check for some of the things I mentioned above.
