Hello,

When brake pads do not release properly it is due to the caliper piston not retrieving. This can be due to a bad caliper or a collapsed brake hose. The rubber hose that attached to the caliper can collapse on the inside and when the brake pedal gets released it won't allow brake fluid to go back thru the hose, leading to the pads sticking to the rotors.

Keep in mind that when you replace the caliper or the hose you will have to bleed the brake system for any air that might have gotten trapped.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
