change thermostat - 2005 scion xa

where is the thermostat located on a 2006 Scion xA. I am flushing the coolant. Thought it would make sense to change the thermostat at the same time. 50k miles. Thank you.

There you go i posted a diagram showing you where the thermostat is.Also you are right it's a good time to change the thermostat.

Thanks - used to standard American cars where they are usually right up front on top. It is so tight under the hood you really can not see it until you know it is there. I never expected to be at that end of the system.

your welcome yeah the new car's they can really make thing's tight in there.Not like the good old day's when i had my 1969 caddy sedan deville i used to sit on the fender and work on the engine lol.
