2006 Saturn Ion Signal Light

My signal light was blinking really fast, so I replaced the bulb. However, it is still blinking rapidly. What could be the problem?

If it's blinking fast, you still have a bad bulb or one isn't making connection. Do both front and rear lights flash? Does the front signal have a two bulb set up?
