Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Extension

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the trim panel by pulling at the top to disengage the panel from the trim clip.
2. Remove the lower tabs from behind the door trim by lifting up on the panel.
3. If equipped, disconnect the speaker electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the speaker electrical connector.
2. Install the trim panel by sliding the lower tabs behind the door trim.
3. Push in to engage the upper trim clip.
Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the upper trim finish panel from the front door. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Extension (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk Front Door Panel Service and Repair Front Door Panel Replacement Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Extension).
2. Remove the rearview mirror sound absorber.
3. Disconnect the rearview mirror electrical connector (3), if equipped.

4. Remove the rearview mirror nuts (2).
5. Remove the rearview mirror (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the rearview mirror (1) to the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the rearview mirror nuts (2).

Tighten the rear door rear view mirror nuts (2) to 6 N.M (53 lb in).

3. Connect the rearview mirror electrical connector (3), if equipped.
4. Install the rearview mirror sound absorber.
5. Install the front door upper trim finish panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Extension (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk Front Door Panel Service and Repair Front Door Panel Replacement Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Extension).
