Key is stuck in ignition was told could be interlock what is needed to be done to fix this ?

So does the key only move acc run and the start position? If so its your interlock there is a little door on the bottom of the steering column shrouds that pops off.Under it you will see a arm if you move that arm then you can turn the key off its the interlock from keeping the key from turning off.
