Last week suddenly, I began to hear a humming sound which gets louder and higher in pitch as I go faster. Can't check Transmission as it appears to be a sealed system. Can you tell me what this might be?

Most likely brakes are worn out or a bad wheel bearing do you have a jack and jack stands?

No when you swerve the car to the left or right does the noise change? So far it sounds like a bad wheel bearing. But without you having a jack and jack stand and following my instructions I cant tell you for sure if its bad.

Noise seems constant. Since I don't have tools I will take to a shop. Thanks for your help though.
