how do i get the parking brake cable back on the brake shoe

i took the old shoe off but cannot get the new one on due to the spring on the cable

Can loosen adjuster to take tension of return spring. or with diagonal pliers and regular pliers can hold lug with Reg pliers then use diag to slide spring up enough to slip in arm groove clamp down on diags when spring back far enough.

Just to add to this one pop up the ebrake boot loosen the nut for the ebrake arm cable till the end of the threads.That should give you the slack you need.Also remember when your done you will have to readjust your ebrake arm.
