2007 ish SAturn Ion sedan. Son is away at college (out of town). The car alarm started going off yesterday for now reason. HE has started the car and then shut it off ,which temporarily resets the alarm. Later he gets a call that the alarm is going off again. He couldn't find anything in the owners manual that helps.
Is there a fix for this, such as resetting it (disconecting battery or power cable), a master fuse for the alarm system, etc.? He doesn't need the alarm system, we just need to keep it from going off anymore.
