My AC will not cool. The white wheel on rear left behind the radio will not change (turn) to allow the knob to go to vents. The floor and defrost positions move freely. What and where is my problem, do I need a recharge? Thanks fellas! Hope to hear from you soon, it's hot and humid here in Panama City , FL.

Air Conditioning problem 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 147000 miles

which freon air conditioning port do I use to recharge?

I need to know which port the freon goes in. There is a port in the front and one by the passenger-side fender wall. The one in front is smaller than the one by the fender. I have tried adding freon to the front one and it takes it but the air does not get cold. Compressor does cycle.?

Thanks for your help :)

Thanks!

Hello,

The low side pressure or charge port is located on the low pressure line. Here are some guides and a diagram (below) to help you get the job done

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/air-conditioner-how-to-add-freon

The diagram below shows the low side hose leaving the evaporator, the low side charge port will be on that hose. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
