The heat/AC buttons are loosing their finish. I bought a new set. I need to find out how to replace them.

I can't find a Clymers or Haynes type of manual on the car. Is there somewhere I can find out how to replace them myself?

I think I've sussed how to reply correctly; no, I still can't figure out how to remove the necessary pieces to get the old buttons out and the new ones in. It's my wife's car and this will be her Christmas present.

All u need to do is, take acc panel out, use a plastic tool or a very small pocket screw driver preferred, to remove front panel cover, put that aside, now take the new ones that u bought & break the tabs off for each button one at a time, so the same button that u took off that is the same one u will be replacing on the control panel just take your time, the only 2 buttons that may be a little difficult to remove is the buttons for the temp adjustment this is where the pocket screw driver comes in handy to pry outer edge & wiggle next side loose, just remember to do them one at a time. Good luck.

Oh by the way the acc panel is just pushed in place so this is where u use the plastic flat tool or even the same pocket screw driver to pry panel out & just unplug the 2 connectors at this back also use the screw driver to release connector locks, good luck again and sorry for the waiting time for the info, sorry that I do not have pics to help u alone, you may need to read post over a few time to get the picture of how to perform repairs.
