IS it welded or clamped? If welded you will have to get it cut out and a new section of pipe welded back in, what is the actual problem with the resonator?

Nothing wrong with it, besides the fact that it wont handle a stage 2 tune. I dont know if its welded or clamped. I have a photo attached.

It looks as if it is part of the flex pipe, I would go to an exhaust repairer and get them to make a new section of flex with a pipe to replace the resonator, you will need a MIG welder to do this mod.
