Running lights stay on...

Why do dash and running lights (fog, side and rear) stay on after car is shut off?

It could be a fault with the Body Control Module. System is equipped with self-diagnostic functions and a scan tool would be able to retrieve trouble codes which would hep to identify and locate the source of the problem.

These are B codes and normal code readers would not work.

Now the electric windows are moving at 1/4 speed. Any relation to the former problem?

Should not be if they are working. Are all windows working slow or only specific ones?

Have the battery and charging rates checked. Power could be weak.
