I have a 2006 GXP with 130Kms on it. When cold the engine starts fine and will drive fine under light acceleration. However, the doors do not automatically lock immediately when it is put into drive. The car hesitates and bogs when you try and accelerate at a mid to hard range.
It simply will not run smooth nor does it gain any speed. Then the doors lock and the engine runs normally after about two kms. No engine light is on. What would you suggest?

try cleaning your battery cables and grounds first then clean the throttleplate with choke cleaner on both sides with the engine shut off. it may be hard to start after that
