headlight wiring diagram?

I'm having an issue with my headlights not coming on... I checked my fuses (good) the bulbs were burnt out, but the lights still won't come on. I was told at an auto parts store that it could be my relay. I need to know a price range to go by so I won't be taken, since I'm a woman.

Did you check voltage, anywhere, use a test light. Did you check for voltage at the applicable fuse circuit? Always check voltage and ground. For 3.8L vin 2, there is a high-beam relay, shouldn't effect low beams. In the diagram, see low beam fuses, turn on your headlamps, low beam, any voltage on those fuses?
