the check gas cap light keeps coming on and i changed the gas cap and large evap leak keeps coming up had smoke test done and no leak what else could it be

Check the filler tube for rust holes... If none are found, have the EVAP system fogged to locate leaks.

i already had a smoke test done no leak and check gas cap light keeps coming on

if I may add. the vent solenoid is a common failure. if the shop that smoke tested it did not seal off the system with a scan tool and manipulate the valve, this could be the issue.

If there were no leaks found with the fog test, chances are he is right with the vent solenoid.

Just to add to this one i would also check and see if your canister purge solenoid isnt stuck wide open i have seen that cause a code P0455.See if you can blow thru it with the key off.
