What is in between ignition switch and starter

Car would not start testecd the starter with screwdriver from b terminal to s terminal it will crank over. Then tested the voltage to the s terminal got 1.2mv on my dmm. Dont know what else to test.

So with the key in the start position what is the voltage on the small purple wire on the starter?

The purple wire is the starters trigger wire.

Idk don't have the car here. Will be able to test tomorrow. What should it be? And if its not right would that mean the starter is out? If its right what so I test next? I am kinds at a loss.

You should have battery voltage at the purple wire on the starter with the key in the start position. Theres a lot of stuff to test let me know when you get the car. Also is the security light on solid or flashing?

The reason it doesnt start is because the security light is on the starter has been disabled.I posted how to relearn the pass lock sensor. Try that if it starts you need to get the ecm and bcm computers for codes.I doubt its a fuse its most likely a fault in your antitheft system. Does your keyless entry remotes work?

Is there a way to do that with out those tool. Cuz I don't have them. If fi pull the fues to the theft system will that reset it?

Pulling the fuse is not going to reset anything.

If you have a different key, try it.

You can do a pass lock learn 30 minute reset just by cycling the key just like it says
