2006 Pontiac G6 Steering Wheel Jerks Vibrates While Driving 4 Cyl There Power

My steering wheel jerks/vibrates while driving. I have the 4 cyl. so there is no power steering pump. No noise and no warning lights.

Need to know at what speeds and under what conditions this occurs. By "jerks", do you mean it shifts position while you're driving straight ahead? Or do you mean the steering wheel bounces to a different position and the car goes that way when you hit a bump? Any other recent repair history?
