I have a 2006 Pontiac G6. It shakes when I reach 45mph and also when I brake. I have replaced front and back rotors and still have shaking in the steering wheel. I can feel vibration in the brake pedal. It shakes pretty bad that the steering wheel shakes from side to side and you can feel lots of vibration in the pedals. I also have replaced front and back brakes and pads. Please help need to fix asap! And have no clue what it could be!

It is rare, but the hub could potentially be warped from over-torque or severe heat. Have a qualified mechanic perform both an on-car and off-car rotor run-out test. If the run-out if way out when the rotors are on the car, but fine when thy are off, this is the problem.

If your pedal pulsates when you apply the brakes:
* Pedal pulsation is caused by excessive run-out in the rotors or drums that are out of round. These conditions occur due to excessive heat.
* It is important to differentiate a warped rotor condition from ABS operation. When the ABS kicks in the driver may experience pulsation in the brake pedal. This could be confused with a warped rotor..
