when drivin red light came on pulled over smoke comin out bonnet garage replaced water pump, nxt day when drivin orange engine light came on pulled over steam comin out back garage said head gasket needs replacing or it needs new engine quoted 1600euro. does this sound right?????????????

we have no info on this but usually a head gasket repair her ein the u.s. is about $1200-1500 dollars. In Europe cost s may be higher due to parts labor.
