Primary timing chain position. I replaced waterpump and dropped bolt into cover. Had to take cover off and made a mess of things. If I align the crankshaft mating mark with the copper link I think the the upper camshaft sprokets are off. Can you please help? The chilton book is not very helpful this round like it is for my chevy. There is yellow paint marks everywhere, not sure how it lines up. Could I put a socket on and turn camshaft without messing things up worse? Thanks for your help.

Refer to diagram for the corresponding marks.

If the camshaft is slightly off the mark, you can turn it but if it is way too far off, make sure the pistons are away from TDC by at at least 15 degrees to be safe.
