idle shoots up for 1-2 sec then returns to normal.especially after a pause or brake. engine appears to conk out but recovers. Servo has been cleaned but no effect. The idling isnt affected by the aircon on.(its a GS matic trans w/ VTC)

Check the valve clearances.
