Nissan sentra 2006 cranking issues

Nissan sentra special edition 1.8s 2006 takes a while to start sometimes when it sits for a while. I am leasing it from a dealer ship that is not Nissan. It just starting a week ago. some days are okay but others takes 8 seconds to start without pressing on the gas. sometimes i smell gas. any adice would be great thanks.

Have the fuel pressure tested. There could be a pressure leakage causing the problem.

I am not sure but I believe they don't do that. However you might be able to loan the fuel pressure gauge from them.
