The last time I filled my gas tank, the needle on my gas gauge somehow jumped to the other side of the pin it rests on when the car is turned off therefore rendering it useless..any suggestions on how to repair it?

Reove the meter cluster cover and manually push the needle back to position to see if it works. If it does not, the gauge has to be replaced.
