Im putting the lifter cups back on cause i replaced heads and i did not nuber them and i seen that they are diffrent heights do the shorter one go on the intake or exaust

If you look inside the lifter cups, you would see stamped marks. Clean if necessary to see them. those marked with U are for the intake.

Those marked with N are for the Exhaust. However different numbering of the lifters indicates different thickness and means valve clearances would be affected. After installation, you would need to check the valve clearances and move the lifters around to get the correct clearance.

Valve clearance for intake are 0.3 mm and exhaust is 0.33 mm.
