Here a clinging noise only in the cold from the steering column of my 2006 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab then after if warms up the clinging sound goes away. At first I thought maybe my keys were hitting the metal but that is not the case. What could this be?

It is not possible to determine the cause of noises without understanding what type of noise it is and the source. You need to try to locate the source before we can tell you what it could be.

It could be something loose emitting the noise when vibrations occurs.
