I HAVE A 2006 ALTIMA AND I AM WONDERING IS MY MOTOR GONE OUT IN MY SEAT OR IS IT THE SWITCH IT DOES EVERYTHING EXCEPT RECLINE BACKWARDS

Chances are the switch is bad. You need to check the motor to see if it is getting power when not working. IF there is no power, then the switch or broken wire is the most likely cause.
