gear down and stay on that gear until i stop

Hi there, my overdrive light blinks somtimes when i start. when i am driving, the car gear down and stay on that gear until i stop, switch off and than restart, only when i switch off only then it works

already did and no error code was detected........

could it be the revolution sensor also known as the speed sensor and the turbine sensor? or could it be the solenoin box? PLEASE HELP AND ADVISE....
