2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Vibrating when driving fast

Car will vibrate when driving fast especially on free ways, whole car shakes. After it shakes also has a strong smell. Also recently when I have aircon on and it is hot the car will rev really high to achieve only 20kms. I have taken it to a few mechanics but they just keep suggesting a wheel allignment which I have done! Help would be great!

Shaking and a hot smell is commonly caused by a sticking brake caliper. After this happens, stop and feel the two front wheels to see if one is much hotter than the other one.
