I put the key in the ignition and turn, there are clicking sound coming from Odometer gauge when starting, speed needle twitches, car starts but temperature gauge fluctuates up to 15 degrees before returning to normal temperature (e.g. 2.5), the trip odometer is reset to zero and the clock is blank and requires resetting. This has happened twice in the last two weeks and hasn't happened previously. I've had this car for about A year and 4 months, and this has never happened before.

Check the battery and alternator. Is it hard to start?
