2006 Mercury Mariner Just Got Oil Changed About 3 Days Light Would Turn On

I just got my oil changed and for about 3 days my oil light would turn on when I would brake. I checked the oil level and its fine. Now the light is on all the time. What is wrong?

That light is telling you the oil pressure is low, not the level. Given the low mileage, I would suspect a faulty oil pressure sending unit first, then serious engine damage. Have the actual pressure checked with a mechanical gauge. If it is within the acceptable range, replace the sending unit.
